Ms. Kim Huynh

Ms. Kim (Lan) Huynh teaches print media and drawing in the Department of Art and Art History. Her creative research centers around globalization's impact on Canadian multiculturalism, social injustice in the cultural-political systems and mobilizes immigrants' experiences to lend a voice to inequality and Indigenization. She has served on many non-profit boards of directors like Calgary Vietnamese Youth (2004-2005), Asian Heritage Foundation (2005-2006), Alberta Printmakers' Society and Artist Proof Gallery (2006-2009), The New Gallery (2000-2005) and The Cultural Pedagogical Inquiry Journal at the University of Alberta since 2017.
