Dr. Tinu Ruparell

Dr. Tinu Ruparell researches Indian and comparative philosophy, the role of religion in the public sphere in multicultural societies, intercultural dialogue and the relationship between science and religion. His work brings the viewpoints, worldviews, practices and histories of non-white, non-European cultures into conversation with the dominant, WASP cultures of Anglo-American culture. It examines questions of how to interpret across cultural boundaries and how to continue to be aware of western political and economic privilege.
